Painting, like other creative hobbies can have a positive effect on your health and general well-being. Painting helps you focus, relax, and exercise your brain. You don’t have to be good at it or have some sort of magical talent. You just have to enjoy it.
For me, painting just makes me happy. I grew up loving the smell of crayons in a coffee tin. There was always a crayon coffee tin around when I was a kid. Gram had one. We had a whopping five pounder one. The joy of opening that big can full of colors and smelling that coffee smell was as good as it ever got. Eventually I traded the crayons in for watercolors, but I still get happy just thinking about that old can!
Anyhoot, my paintings are not serious at all or even slightly professional but I do hope you enjoy browsing the gallery.
