I got the idea for Atomic Motorama from going down a Motorama rabbithole. They actually built working/semi-working prototypes with fins and rockets that looked like they might just lift off at any time. So cool.

Objects include:

• The Smarkle, a cartoonish car with a mid century Palm Springs kind of vibe.
• Galaxy Taxi, inspired by Norman Bel Geddes’s futuristic design. Specifically the Motor Car No 8.
• The Scamper is based on a photo I found of a distopian old camper.
• Turbo Groblin is a take on the 1964 Runabout, a 3 wheel concept car designed by GM.
• The Bobber will be familiar to anyone who watched the Jetsons.

Affinity Designer Vectors

Vector assets are .afassets and .afdesign files created in Affinity Designer V2. Use the vectors if you want to change colors, strokes, curves, etc. Most groups and curves are labeled & easy to work with as a basis for your own projects. These files have not been tested and will not likely work with other programs like Gimp, Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. Assets were created with Version 2, so they will not work in version 1.

PNG Clip Art

Use PNG clip art if you want files that are ready to use right out of the box. Files are 300 dpi and isolated with a transparent background that fit nicely on a US letter size page. PNG files are raster files that work in most graphic programs and can be made smaller but will get fuzzy if you try to enlarge them.

Silhouettes

Silhouettes are included with both vector & PNG assets. Use them to add a little interest to your projects, try offseting or enlarging the silhouette behind the main asset and add solid colors, halftones, shadows or other textures.

Use for Personal and Commercial Projects

Use as part of your own original designs for end products that you intend to sell, personal projects and client projects. Atomic Motorama is especially suited to any space car project like children’s wall art or illustrations. birthday cards, etc. See license here
